We did not know Christine real well, but, she seemed like a wonderful woman and who would give, and do, anything for anyone, and who had a heart of gold. She seemed like she had a joyful spirit to her, and had a great love for her family. We wish we could be there, but, please accept our very deepest sympathies during this very difficult time, and you and your family, are in our every thought and prayer. May she rest in peace, and may you take comfort in knowing an angel is watching over you.

I remember a sweet little cherub faced girl with a huge giving heart. She will be missed.

As I look out my front window and see my favorite tree blooming to a bright fuchsia, it hardly seems fair to me that one of my favorite people will no longer flourish here on this earth. As our lives go on without you, the memories I have shall never fade. How lucky I am to have known you and have all of these fond memories of the years we worked together, and of the times we went "out"

Chris had a true compassion for people and "listened" to everyones' problems, but, rarely judged others or spoke of her own. This is what set Chris apart from anyone else I have ever known. This is what I respected the most about her. Thank you for being my friend. Love ya!

There are so many memories I have of Chris I cant begin to name one that was the most special, they all seem priceless now, but I do remember most vividly our time spent up in Barnes, WI camping this last summer, and a lil girls hopping done with people I consider family, most of all Chris. But I could write a book about the memories, and believe me, some of them, Chris would tell me not to share :)

There are so many memories I have of Chris I cant begin to name one that was the most special, they all seem priceless now, but I do remember most vividly our time spent up in Barnes, WI camping this last summer, and a lil girls hopping done with people I consider family, most of all Chris. But I could write a book about the memories, and believe me, some of them, Chris would tell me not to share :) What I consider the best thing I can leave on this memory book, is the visual of the angel we have watching us now, Sarah, Nikki, Gary, and all the family, and friends of Chris and everyone, I am not by blood, family. Yet years ago, and I forget how many, this lovely woman, took me in like a stray pup, and helped me achieve confidence, an open mind, and most importantly, love for myself, and so much more I could never make concise in a paragraph the list. I will feel a loss with her passing for the rest of my life. I loved her as my own mother, confidant, and kindred sister. We had many long private talks where I became easily able to devulge to her my deepest of thoughts and secrets, and she accepted me unconditionally, and for that I would do anything the woman ever asked of me, yet of course, she was a superwoman, and never did ask for my help :) In summary, ugh, how does one summarize when it comes to Chris, anyway, theres no doubt many will cry and mourn over her long into the future, and I am no less weak, I am trying to be strong for those who need it, but I feel like I lost a parent as well, I was honored to be her stray, and I will forever owe so much to her that money cant buy, memories that cant be erased, and love in return I can only hope to share it now with her family.

I did not get a chance to get to know Chris like everybody else that knows her, but in the couple years that I have been hanging out at Elk Point I did get to enjoy the little bit of time that she was able to be out at the bar with her family and friends. I wish I could of been as close to Chris as I am the the rest of her family. She was loved by so many people in this community and will be missed a lot!!

Chris was an amazing friend and a wonderful boss! She lit up a room no matter where she was. Always the life of the party! Her generosity spread for miles and will always be remembered by everyone who met her.

I remember the first day I met Chris. We had both moved to Altoona and it was the first day of our Sophomore year. It was time to buddy-up for lockers and we both looked around the room with uncertainty and saw each other. We quickly introduced ourselves and we were best friends from then on.
Chris always had a kind smile and a good laugh to share. I will miss her greatly.

Im so happy i got a job about eight years ago at elk point or i may never have gotten a chance to get to know chris. she was not just my employer she was my friend and im glad we went on a awesome vaction to the dominican a few years ago. Gary, Sarah & Nikki...even though it's been a few years, we will always remember Chris & all the good times we had at Elk Point. We spent a lot of time out there with you. I will miss Chris' caring words whenever she knew something was wrong, her listening ears and her bright beautiful smile! Whether it is relaxing in the sun, hanging out by the bonfire or singing Karaoke, camping and hanging out at Elk Point is the best part of my Summer months and now it's just not going be the same without Chris' laughter and conversation. I also know that Zane will miss see her smiling face when he comes in for lunch and a root beer during the Summer too! She will always hold a special place in our hearts! Rest In Peace Chris and look over us ALL until we meet again!
