George V. Broughton, age 93, of Menomonie, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Dunn County Health Care Center in Menomonie.

George is survived by three children, Jim Broughton, Marie Broughton (Steven) and Margaret (Dennis) Woodford; eleven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter; he is also survived by other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents George and Cora (Sloan) Broughton, a daughter Wanda Kroll, three sisters Klydie Schesel, Helen Harding and Margaret Fall.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Olson Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Menomonie with Pastor Robin Bucklin officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
